Phil has completed a Doctorate of Physiotherapy at The University of Melbourne in 2014 and a Bachelor of Exercise Science from the University of Wollongong 2012. Since graduating Phil has gained significant experience using his Physiotherapy and Exercise Science skills in private practice and many different sporting clubs prior to joining the Brunswick Physiotherapy and Sports Performance.
Apart from Phil’s special interest in sports related injuries, he enjoys looking after the everyday patient who suffers from a multitude of factors such as degeneration, general fitness and poor ergonomics.
Phil has been fortunate enough to work in New York, USA where he was able to provide physiotherapy services as part of his degree at the University of Melbourne.
He is a qualified Level 1 Strength and Conditioning Coach and has completed further certificates in Level 2 Accupuncture/Dry Needling, Level 1 Sports Physiotherapy and Clinical Pilates.
Outside of work, Phil enjoys keeping active in the gym, middle distance running, playing cricket and hockey. Since joining the team, Phil is looking to provide physiotherapy and injury prevention services to the local sporting clubs in the Brunswick area. Phil has a passion for AFL where he is often described as a tragic Dees supporter!
